Ad account setup
Ads.haus launches campaigns through ad accounts you own. Each platform's account is created natively on that platform, with your business details and your payment method — then you link it in Connections. This page is the shortest honest path through each signup, with the exact URL to start from.
What every platform asks for
Gather these once and every signup below goes faster:
- Legal business name and registered address, exactly as they appear on your tax documents
- Business website URL (the domain you'll advertise)
- A work email address you can receive verification codes on
- A credit or debit card for billing (some platforms also accept bank debit)
- Tax ID for business verification — EIN in the US, company number / VAT ID in the UK and EU
You can also ask the Growth Agent inside your workspace — it knows these guides and can walk you through a specific platform step by step.
Google Ads
Start at ads.google.com.
Before you start
- A Google account that will own the advertiser account
- Legal business name and website URL
- A payment method for billing
Steps
- Open ads.google.com. Sign in with the Google account that should own the ad account. This is the identity every future admin will inherit from.
- Enter business information. Provide the legal business name and website when Google asks.
- Skip the guided campaign flow. If the goal is account creation only, look for a 'Switch to Expert Mode' or 'Create an account without a campaign' link so Google doesn't force you into a starter campaign.
- Add billing details. Enter the payment method the account will bill to.
- Save the Customer ID. Copy the Google Ads Customer ID from the top-right — you'll need it when you connect Ads.haus.
Verification: Google may require advertiser verification before ads run. Individuals usually need government-issued photo ID; organizations need incorporation / VAT documents plus a representative's ID. Exact requirements vary by country.
Meta (Facebook & Instagram)
Start at business.facebook.com.
Before you start
- A Meta / Facebook login for the business owner or admin
- A Facebook Page (or admin access to one)
- A valid payment method
Steps
- Open business.facebook.com. Sign in with the Meta account that should administer the Business and ad account.
- Create or open the Meta Business account. If the business doesn't have one yet, create it; otherwise select the existing one.
- Click 'Create a new ad account'. In the Ad Accounts area, add a new ad account.
- Set name, time zone, and currency. Time zone and currency can't be changed later for most accounts — pick carefully.
- Add a payment method. Finish setup in Ads Manager once the payment is saved.
Verification: Some businesses are asked to complete Meta business verification: legal name, address, and a tax document (EIN letter in the US, company registration in the UK/EU) that matches them exactly.
Good to know: Meta requires a Facebook Page before ads can run. Assign the right Page role (Advertiser or Admin) to the account that will connect to Ads.haus.
TikTok Ads
Start at getstarted.tiktok.com.
Before you start
- An email address for the account owner
- Business and brand information
- Billing details (and any docs required for review / approval)
Steps
- Register via getstarted.tiktok.com. Sign up with email and password. You can also reach this from the TikTok Ads Manager signup link.
- Verify the email. Confirm the verification email TikTok sends.
- Enter business and brand information. Fill out the business / brand profile questions honestly — these feed TikTok's approval review.
- Add billing details and submit. Enter the payment method and submit the advertiser account for TikTok's review.
- Wait for approval and sign in. Once TikTok approves the advertiser account, sign in to Ads Manager — it confirms the account is live.
Verification: TikTok reviews every new advertiser account and may ask for a business registration document (certificate of incorporation, or EIN letter in the US) before approving it.
Good to know: TikTok's review can take anywhere from minutes to a few business days. Connect Ads.haus after approval so the connection picks up the live account. Budget floor to know: TikTok rejects campaign budgets under about $20/day.
Reddit Ads
Start at ads.reddit.com.
Before you start
- A Reddit account owned by the customer or business operator
- Legal business name and website
- A payment method
Steps
- Open ads.reddit.com. Use the Reddit account that should own the advertiser account. Create one first if needed.
- Complete the advertiser setup fields. First name, last name, legal business name, business website.
- Add billing details. Enter the payment method when prompted.
- Enter Reddit Ads Manager. Verify you land in the Ads Manager home — that confirms the advertiser account is active.
Good to know: Reddit occasionally changes the onboarding screens — if a step here doesn't match what you see, follow the on-screen flow.
X Ads
Start at ads.x.com.
Before you start
- An X account that complies with X's policies
- Country and time zone for the ads account
- Billing details
Steps
- Sign in to the owning X account. Use the X account that should own the ads account and promoted posts.
- Open ads.x.com. This bootstraps the ads account on first visit.
- Select country and time zone carefully. X does not let you change these after account creation.
- Continue into campaign / account setup. Walk through the account-setup flow.
- Add billing information. Enter the payment method to finish account creation.
LinkedIn Ads
Start at linkedin.com/campaignmanager.
Before you start
- A personal LinkedIn profile for the account admin
- A LinkedIn Page for the business (required to sponsor content)
- A payment method
Steps
- Sign in and open Campaign Manager. Go to linkedin.com/campaignmanager signed in as the person who should administer ads.
- Create the ad account. Name the account and pick the billing currency — the currency can't be changed later.
- Associate the LinkedIn Page. Link the business's LinkedIn Page. If the business doesn't have one, create it first at linkedin.com/company/setup/new — most ad formats require it.
- Add billing details. Enter the payment method under Billing Center.
Good to know: LinkedIn enforces a minimum daily budget of $10 and CPCs run high — it's usually only worth it for high-ticket B2B offers.
Pinterest Ads
Start at ads.pinterest.com.
Before you start
- A Pinterest business account (convert a personal one or create fresh)
- The business website, ready to claim (you'll add a DNS record or HTML tag)
- A payment method
Steps
- Create or convert to a business account. At business.pinterest.com, create a business account or convert the existing personal one.
- Open ads.pinterest.com. First visit walks you through country and currency — both are fixed after creation, so pick carefully.
- Claim the website. Under Settings → Claimed accounts, verify the domain via DNS record or HTML tag. Claiming unlocks attribution and shows your ads with the site name.
- Add billing details. Enter the payment method under Billing.
Good to know: Pinterest Ads is only available for businesses in supported countries — the signup flow tells you immediately if yours isn't covered.
Snapchat Ads
Start at ads.snapchat.com.
Before you start
- A Snapchat login for the business owner or marketer
- Business name, website, and billing details
- Access to the ad account that should connect to Ads.haus
Steps
- Open Snapchat Ads Manager. Sign in at ads.snapchat.com with the account that should manage ads.
- Create or select the business account. Choose the business that owns the ad account, or create it if this is the first Snapchat Ads setup.
- Confirm the ad account. Check that the ad account has the right currency, time zone, and user access.
- Add billing details. Enter a payment method so campaigns can deliver after launch.
- Return to Ads.haus. Once the ad account is ready, connect it from the Connections page.
Good to know: Snapchat hasn't been approving third-party apps for its ads API, so Ads.haus connects to Snap via a browser login instead: Connections → Connect New → Snapchat Ads. It pulls dashboard snapshots periodically and asks you to log in again when the session expires. Campaign delivery can also depend on account review, billing, and policy checks.
Once the account exists
Open Connections in your workspace and connect the platform. Grant the ad scopes when the OAuth screen asks — see Connecting accounts for what can go wrong there.
